If Heaven is so good, why religious people don't kill themselves to go there?

There were those Kool-Aid Christians...too bad there aren't more. It would mean more jobs for kids just graduating

I actual have questioned that for a protracted time. Suicide isn't an answer yet whilst they have been given at the same time and shriveled some one that did not concepts going to hell for a great sum of money they might get get that man or woman to devote a mass homicide they could be off the hook and then in heaven. yet they could arise with some thing why not. i think of the individuals who do the sacrifice for others situation and artwork in AIDS wards or ravenous worldwide places the place they have a good possibility of having killed are doing the comparable situation, yet justifying it in a diverse way.

Suicide is the murder of self and not one you can repent of after it is done. He put us here to be witnesses for Him. Suicide is giving up. Sets a very bad example.

I'm sure it is a great temptation to those being persecuted and tortured for what they believe.

So, according the bible the after-life is a timeless paradise in which you join ALL your family, and ALL your friends, and spend eternity doing EVERYTHING you LOVE! Right? Well, why aren't religious folk committing suicide, and getting to that special place, a bit quicker? I know you'll say 'Suicide is considered a sin' and therefore they won't qualify for Heaven. But God also says (in the famous bible), that everybody is entitled a second chance. So basically, we're allowed one sin each. I might use mine on a rape or something, something decent. But why not use your sin, and redeem your fast-track ticket to paradise?

Because you end up in Hell in eternal suffering if you do that.

By doing that, you are not a Christian in the first place and you are not regenerated yet.

Because our life is the gift of God. Thus, Christian life is a joy and then we ascend.

And as a Christian, filled with Agape love, I want all people on earth to be saved, to be my brothers and sisters in Christ, and later on to live in My Family Home the Heaven.

Remember one of the commandment: "Do not kill."

To kill is against God's will.

Jesus said that unless we are born again we cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Thus, when we trust in Jesus, we are born again by His Spirit, and indwelled by His Holy Spirit.

Now the transformation process starts. The Holy Spirit raises us, washing our hearts and minds and regenerate them so that we will be holy when we arrive in Heaven. Until we are ready, Christians will not die: as simple as that. If a person die without being ready to be holy in Heaven, he is not a Christian though maybe a professed Christian.

Our new bodies are called the glorified, incorruptible, resurrection body, the same as Jesus body after the resurrection that allows Him to beam into a room without opening the door and beam from one place to another instantaneously. We can beam to the sun and do research or just play in there.

With such power only holiness will prevent a person from becoming a monster. Remember: absolute power corrupts absolutely ......... unless we are holy ....... unless we are born again.

Jim, my friend, I have a question for you. If you are an atheist, I know most of the atheist dont believe in life after death.

So, my friend, why dont you kill yourself now as there is no point in your life for gaining Heaven? Why do you have to bear going to work, seeing dead and suffering illnesses, stress, paying tax for endorsing Israel to kill Palestinians (if you are an American) etc. and all other problems of this life?

Death will come, so if you dont mind dying, die young so that your corpse will look handsome!

Most people who have jobs don't really want jobs. They want the paycheck. Can we just skip work and go pick up a paycheck? Not really.

People who are followers of Christ will go to Heaven - not "religious" people.

To be a follower of Christ is to do what He asks of you - He asked that we go and preach the Gospel to all the nations, teaching them to do the things He taught. I cannot do that if I kill myself.... So, if I kill myself, I'm not a follower of Christ.

I too have wondered this. I also have wondered why god would waste everyones time putting them on Earth. Why not just remove sin and take everyone to heaven?

I think the Bible says that committing suicide should never happen, or something like that. Maybe people believe that they have to do certain things to deserve heaven?
