I mean, yeah, I think it'd look good and all, but it's really your decision. If you do it because someone else says it'd look good & it's really not something you're sure about, you may end up sorry you did it. But if it's something you'd been thinking about anyway, then if you're going to keep them small, they'd likely go back to normal if you decide to take them out. Although keep in mind that people very seldom stick to their original goal size-I really don't think I know of or heard of one person that decided on a size initially, then just stopped at that size forever. A 2g is really small & really doesn't look much different than regular earrings, so if you were to decide to go larger, most people can go to around a 00g or 7/16" and still have them shrink back to where you'd never know. But it's really up to you.

Don't bother stretching your ears if you plan on taking them out later on at some point, because then that's just a waste of your money & time lol.
You have to commit to stretched ears if you plan on getting them.
Don't get them just because someone else tells you that you'd look good with them lol.
Go big or go home.
