with little girls at the party, you want to serve more than sweets. you can make chicken strips with a favorite dipping sauce because kids like to dip things. try serving mini peanut butter and jelly sandwiches too or apple slices with peanut butter. another item is a ham, cheese, turkey, platter.

Make her favorite sandwiches but use cookie cutters to cut them out to make special shapes for her party. If you don't have cookie cutters, just cut the sandwiches smaller (like into quarters) to make it special and a fun finger food. Cut up fresh fruit and mix together plain greek yogurt and vanilla instant pudding mix. Add the pudding mix until the yogurt is a creamy yellow color and tastes almost like cake batter. I often eat this as a snack as it is delicious and healthy. Put cool-whip between two cookies and freeze for a new take on an ice cream sandwich of sorts. Serve sherbet with sprite or ginger ale poured over it for a fun and fizzy punch.

A proper tea party would have cucumber sandwiches and little tea cakes. There is a lot of good fruit available right now. Who wouldn't like some cherries or plums at a tea party?
They would be boors.

Serve small, bite sized sweet treats and snacks at the party because they are the types of food typically served at a tea party themed event. The things you have on your list so far sound perfect. The items listed below would be other great ideas.
fruit salad
finger jello
brownie bites
mini donut bites
chocolate covered treats (vanilla wafers, graham crackers, pretzels, marshmallows, nuts)
fruit crisp (apple, strawberry, blueberry, or peach)
gummy candies (licorice, gumdrops, jelly beans, lifesaver gummy candy)
smores
trail mix
vegetable tray with ranch dressing
chips and salsa
pretzel rods and honey mustard dipping sauce
candied apples (with assorted toppings)

If you already have your cake, you better order another--it will be all dried out by Friday!
