Who do I hire for this project? (involving driveway, gate & wall)?
I need to have a wall built in front of my house (to block off from a busy street) with an automatic gate for the entrance. The driveway also needs to be remade / slightly redesigned. I can't figure out what type of contractor I am supposed to hire for the job. I contacted a mason, but he said he only works with stone.
We currently have a partial wall that is cement/stucco - we want to extend the wall and add a stone finish (probably faux) over the whole thing. We are hoping to turn our driveway into a circle driveway with an automatic gate entrance. Who should I be looking for to do this job as it should probably all be planned and coordinated together so it all works since it's all going to be a tight fit.
If you know anyone specifically in the Boulder/Denver, CO area that would also be very useful! But just a general answer would help greatly too. Thanks everyone!

You need to start with a landscape architect. He designs and provides plans so you can get competitive bids and to get permits. You can pull permits as an owner/builder, have all the subcontractors pull them, or you can hire a contractor to oversee the project. Many landscape architects will do the contracting also. Here are the contractors you'll need.
Grading company, to prep for wall and driveway.
Block mason, to form and pour footers and build walls.
Stone mason, for the imitation stone.
Driveway contractor, to build sub base and installation of materials.
Irrigation contractor, sleeves (pipes under driveway) and sprinkler system.
Electrician, wall lighting, gate system.
Gate company, supply gate, motors, driveway sensors.
Landscape contractor, grass, plants, mulch, clean up.
