Why do some white people deny that being white is an advantage in our society?

By denying that they have an advantage as whites, it allows them to believe that they aren't part of the problem facing racial minorities (really don't even think we should use this term anymore, white Anglo-Saxons are probably a minority in North America now). If they aren't at an advantage by being white, then implicitly it means that racial minorities (majorities?) aren't at a disadvantage. If poverty is more prominent in immigrant and racial communities, it's because they're lazy and want to bum off the government. It's not a problem they have to deal with beyond building more jails, which are disproportionately filled with colored people.

Of course, that must just be because colored people are more violent by their nature...*facepalm*

How come some nations with abundant of natural resources are mostly poor and White nations like the Nordic nations and many European nations are the mostly advance?

Honestly I have no idea, I am white and I realize that being white I do have an advantage, or rather, somone as a minority has a disadvantage.

It's like white, straight, men. They completely deny that they are a privileged (probably why all the straight, white men are going to Thumbs down this).

Being smarter is an advantage. Fact is, whites and asians do better academically. There are some smart blacks and latinos, but on average they do much poorly.

edit. I knew that race card would be played, so here we go. My girlfriend is Asian. I know many blacks and latinos. Race card is so old, so people should stop using it. Just look up facts and you will see that minorities do poorer academically. There is nothing racist about it, if its a fact.

You know when you look at the CEO's of JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Verizon, and other corporations and see they are white men? Well just know most white men are poor, blue collar workers. I can only dream of having the "white privilege" these men have.

Millions of white people live in poverty. This can be confirmed with a few simple internet searches. If being white is an advantage, why do millions of white people live in poverty?
