What foreign do you think would be best to live?

I currently live in america, but lately really been wanting to move and work out of the country.

My grandparents moved to america 39 years ago, they said they fell in love with america by "fancy" culture (thats what they say), but they said it wasn't that america changed their lives but moving to another country in general and living so differently helped shape them as people. (they were from ireland)..

Anyway I would like to move or at least live in another country for a year or two.. I was thinking greece, I would love to live in bali or somewhere in taiwain but since I would be living and moving on my own I don't know how safe these places would be...

any suggestions or advice?

It really dependent on what are you planning to do and what skills you have, I am from Greece, and I can recommend you to come if your field can guarantee that you will find a job, or if you are planning to attend to an international university like the one in Thessaloniki (http://www.ihu.edu.gr/). Greece is western and european enough to make you feel comfortable but also eastern and balkan enough to make you live a different experience. (Also everybody talks English so you will not have problem to communicate). But make sure that you can find a job, because that's in reality the only real problem that the economic crisis left.
