Help! Something is wrong with my cat I think hes sick!?
Please help me, Ollie is my neighbours cat but we have partially adopted him and taken him in as our own cat too. Hes over everyday, plays with me, cuddles me, sleeps with me and we feed him his special cat food (jimbos catfood). I love him so much and Im scared for him. Hes been acting very strange lately, hes been hanging around our house more often but hes not playful or purring like he used to. He looks like hes always on edge, and doesnt come for cuddles anymore like he used to. However, he never wants to be away from me and always wants to sleep on my bed. He also sprayed in the house and he never sprays! Hes been distant, doesnt want me to touch him, when I do pat him or cuddle him he doesnt purr and walks away. He never done that before, yet he always wants to be around me. I noticed a new black cat in his yard, whos been hanging around. Do you think Ollie is acting strange because he feels threatened? Or does it sound like hes sick? Please help, he is still my neighbours cat and Im not sure if Im allowed to take him to the vet. Please cat lovers help me!

They may have gotten a new cat, so he's acting out. If he were sick, he would probably run away and hide. You should probably go to his real owners and notify them of strange behavior if you're genuinely concerned. Remember, he's not YOUR cat. Taking him to the vet would be inappropriate and your neighbors would probably be offended. Do they not care for him? You probably shouldn't be feeding him, either. I'm sure they feed him enough, and you feeding him also may make him obese and lead to diabetes.

How sick is he, is he having sex with his sister?
No, you cannot take your neighbors cat to the vet anymore than you can take your neighbors car to the garage. If you think there is something wrong with him, inform the cats owner.

The dry nostril isn't something to be concerned approximately. My cats noses bypass from moist to dry for all time. What might concern me is the abundance of snoozing blended with the lack of urge for food. i might take him to the vet to be secure.

Talk to your neighbor, explain the situation. I would see a vet just in case
