Gross they would be getting half eaten probably rotten food. You can't send stuff like that in the mail! Can you imagine how gross that would be to receive like a half eaten moldy roast dinner in a zip block bag? Thanks for thinking about starving people but in all honesty that has no chance of working. Maybe just donate some money to a charity or since you don't really know where the money that you donate goes, you could give something directly to a homeless person on the street.

People have this idea all of the time and their is one big problem and that is getting them from your table to someone else's table still hot, as the person who is going to eat it will have no microwave to reheat and we can't yet teleport the food around the world yet.
It is likely to have gone off before it has even left your State, and be putrid by the time it got there.
Next time you go shopping put a few cans of things into the local charity bins to feed someone nearby instead

Nobody wants or needs your half eaten meal.
But there are plenty of shelters right in your own neighborhood that you can donate canned goods and fresh food to help feed the homeless.
Start out small with a canned food drive at your school or church.

Hunger in the world is not due to a shortage of food. Some of it is due to corrupt governments. For example, in North Korea, they could feed their people, but they are more interested in making nuclear weapons. In Africa, there are many power struggles where one ethnic group is trying to cleanse their land (genocide) by isolating the other ethnic groups preventing aid. Many governments will take foreign aid and misappropriate it. Then you have the issue with the economics of refrigerating and shipping the food. Many of these areas are war torn, so the aid workers are often in danger.

Send moldy leftovers to poor countries to eat? Genius! That will kill them, which means less mouths to feed! Good job

That's a great idea, while you're at it, why don't you also pay for it to be kept refrigerated, shipped and then reheated in countries many Kilometres away that don't understand what you're saying.
