Why does my son's insurance company want our info?
My son lost his licence and is just now getting reinstated. He is dealing with a new insurance company, and for some reason, they want my and my husband's names, birthdates, insurance company and policy number. I can't say that I'm interested in giving them any of that information; sounds off to me. If anyone has any ideas as to why they'd want this info, please let me know.

Its not unusual that they get this information. You are living in the same household and are licensed drivers. Your son's insurance company needs to know that you are insured elsewhere otherwise they will list you on his policy. The same goes with your insurance company. They will require the same thing at one point or another. Especially now that his license will be reinstated. When your policy renews don't be surprised if your company sends you a letter asking for his information.
