My employer lied to me about available benefits?
Before I went on maternity leave, my employer ( a daycare), told me when I was cleared after giving birth, I could come back on a full-time basis and could en-roll my child into daycare and would receive a 50% off employee discount for childcare.
Last Tuesday, I went in for a meeting with my boss to set my schedule to return to work, and she then stated they did not have a spot available for my child at the time, and outside of that, they no longer gave employee discounts for childcare. I then went home and searched for other jobs, and found that this employer re-posted my position on a job search website and it stated that CHILDCARE DISCOUNTS WERE AVAILABLE....so needless to say I was in shock. What can I do if anything? Obviously, I was blatantly lied to.

First, print copies of the job ad and the discount. If your employer is part of a chain (La Petit, Kindercare, whatever) you can find out from a higher office if there really is a discount for employees. Most likely it is your bosses discretion, though. If you can show others get it and it is advertised, but he/she denies it to you, you may have a complaint for your local Dept of Labor. Doesn't hurt to ask but you have to prove a case of harassment. Most likely your boss would just claim the ad was a mistake.
If you were full time before your leave, your job (or equivalent position) must be held for you. Again, that is enforced by the Dept of Labor.
Good luck.
