  • Should I sleep with my wife during marriage counseling?

My wife and I have been fighting alot lately, and have had quite a few VERY big fights, not physical because I'll never hit a woman.

We just had our first child this past March, a beautiful daughter. She wanted to relocate out of my home state to where she grew up once having our daughter because she wanted to be close to her mom, so I did that for her. Since then, we have been fighting alot about sex. Either she isn't interested in having sex at all, or when we do have sex, she is not passionate about it at all, and I have become very bored with "just having sex" when we do have sex, which is rarely ever. I'd much rather just not do it.

I have been sleeping on the couch alot. I gave her two options last night: 1) go to marriage counseling with me with our church pastor, OR 2) I leave and go back to my home state and it is finished for good. She amazingly chose counseling.

Should I continue to sleep in the same bed with her while we are in marriage counseling or should I force her to spend a while in the bed alone and I set up camp on the couch?

  • Landlord will not give me my deposit back, what can I do?

May 24th, I signed a lease on a trailer for one year, and paid $1,250 ($625 deposit and $625 1st month rent) to move in. I moved my stuff in June 3rd, on June 4th, I recevied a phone call offering me an out-of-state job in my wife's home state that I interviewed for 5 weeks earlier.

Obviously, I accepted the job and informed the landlord I had accepted the out-of-state job and told him I'd everything out of the trailer by June 9th, which I did. They are not willingly giving me my $625 deposit back. Am I entitled to any kind of a refund? Or am I screwed out of $1250? There was no damage done to the trailer. This is in NC.

  • My employer lied to me about available benefits?

Before I went on maternity leave, my employer ( a daycare), told me when I was cleared after giving birth, I could come back on a full-time basis and could en-roll my child into daycare and would receive a 50% off employee discount for childcare.

Last Tuesday, I went in for a meeting with my boss to set my schedule to return to work, and she then stated they did not have a spot available for my child at the time, and outside of that, they no longer gave employee discounts for childcare. I then went home and searched for other jobs, and found that this employer re-posted my position on a job search website and it stated that CHILDCARE DISCOUNTS WERE AVAILABLE....so needless to say I was in shock. What can I do if anything? Obviously, I was blatantly lied to.

  • Dog being severely mistreated.what can I do?

It is the weekend, and the animal control place is closed on Sunday, or at least the complaint center is. There is a house across the street that has two pitbulls. They keep one tied up in the back yard, and one tied up in the front yard...both left outside all day. The female just had about 10 puppies and they have been taken from her and put inside the people's house......

the mommy dog constantly yelps and barks because she wants her puppies, and it is clear they aren't feeding her, she is skin and bone, they aren't even letting the puppies get any milk from her.

What can I do other than call animal control Monday and hope they come by and take the dogs from them?

It's evident they are seriously neglecting and abusing these innocent animals.

  • My eBay account is suspended?

My eBay account has been suspended for about 6 months due to not being able to pay my seller fees. It says it is suspended and has been charged off, and that my total amount due is $192.00. If I pay this amount, will my account be re-instated? Or is it gone for good regardless if I pay the amount due or not?

  • What kind of chess set is this?

I'm thinking of putting this chess set on eBay, but first I need some opinions on what kind it may be? Look at the pictures and let me know if you have any idea? My dad bought it at an auction in the 1980's, so it's at least that old. It's very heavy. The link to the pictures is below:

  • What is the tenant / landlord law concerning mold?

Can a landlord lawfully charge someone rent for a house that has a severe mold problem after they are made aware of the mold?

We had a court case today in small claims court against the landlord, because he charged us half of what was remaining on the lease which was $1,200 to break our lease and move out. He also kept our deposit and we damaged the property in no way.

At the time we broke the lease and paid him the $1,200, I did not know the landlord could not charge any future rent after they are made aware of a mold problem. The magistrate didn't make a decision today. She would make one within a week she said. I provided pictures of the mold, and a copy of the check I wrote the landlord for the $1,200.

When we brought the mold to the landlord's attention and told him we cannot afford to stay here and pay $695/month for a house that has mold in it, the quality of the air was pretty bad as well. His exact words were as follows: "oh, you can just wipe that down with mildew cleaner, that's not even a concern." Then he said, "you have 4 months remaining on your lease, and I've got to get something out of this." He did not even offer to come look at it. And since it was our first time renting a home, we weren't aware a landlord couldn't charge for rent when mold is present because it causes a health concern.

I'm just trying to find a law somewhere that supports my claim that a landlord cannot charge rent when mold is present. The magistrate said she needed to review the statue of limitations concerning the matters at hand. So anyone with any advice would definitely help. Thanks!

  • Mold problem..what are my chances of winning in Small Claims court?

I went to my landlord after finding a severe mold infestation in the main bedroom closet, and they said "you can just wipe it down with mildew cleaner, and that it wasn't even a concern to them"..... and that they had to get something out of the remainder of our lease.

We agreed to pay him 1/2 of what was remaining on the lease NOT knowing that they couldn't lawfully charge us any more rent once the mold issue was brought to their attention until the problem was fixed.......We chose to break the lease and move into a cleaner and safer home. Landlord did not want to help solve the mold problem whatsoever, they were only concerned about getting money.

I have filed a lawsuit in small claims court to attempt to get my money back. It was $1,200. And I'm also asking for my security deposit back because i didn't damage the property in anyway. AND, the landlord has ALREADY rented the house to someone else. There's no way he has gotten rid of the mold, unless he just painted over it... haha. I have time/date stamped photos of the mold that i will take to court with me.... what's the chance that I can win this case?
