Moving out of state for different job, can I have same bank account?

I'm in North Carolina and am a state employee and have a bank account at the State Employees' Credit Union, I'm moving to Georgia and will be a state employee there as well, can I receive my direct depost into my NC bank account or do I need to open a new account in Georgia?
