UK question. What happens if Prince Charles died before his mom, Elizabeth II?

I know the current linage is Charles, William, and then William + Kate's baby (no matter sex). But, if Charles were out of picture, does Anne or Andrews line take over the Line?

    If Charles Died before queen, Prince William become heir to the throne, Dukedoms of Cornwall and Rothersay are reverted to crown. Queen can appoint william as Prince of Wales when she wish. no change will happen. If all the descendants of prince charles died before queen the Prince Andrew is living he can inherit all titles of Prince Charles and eventually become king.

    Prince William succeeds the Throne if Charles dies.

    The death or abdication of Charles would not affect his sons' position in the line of succession. If Charles predeceased the Queen, William would become King after the Queen.

    It goes the heir, and his heirs, then the next youngest, and their heirs, and so on.

    So, if Charles died, there would be 2 generations of his heirs (William, and his child) to go through before Andrew becomes heir. And, all his descendants come before Edward, and all of his before Anne.

    Elizabeth

    Charles -> William -> William's child -> etc (unlikely, but...)

    ........... -> Harry -> heirs (he hasn't any yet) -> etc

    Then Andrew -> heirs

    then Edward -> heirs

    then Anne -> heirs

    And so on, with Elizabeth's younger sister Margret's heirs coming next.

    If Prince Charles predeceases his mother, Prince William would become the heir to the throne and would presumably be made Prince of Wales. The really good news would be that Camilla would not be queen. Jurassic Park!

    If Charles dies, William is still next in line, isn't he?

    He dies and is remembered but his mother would rule.Although people forget ,when it come to succession(it's about who obeyed grandmother) that's who would get to be king.William needed to marry monarchy.He didn't ,so he will not get to be king ...Hrh Prince Henry is what they call without flaw.She would bestow it on the living heir who married monarchy.Which make the royal crowns run.She will not give it to a half monarchy like William and Katherine Middleton child,regardless of succession.To make succession uphold,monarchy has to marry monarchy to ensure 100% bloodlines for monarchy is pure royal to be term royal.If not then the crown is reverted to a full monarchy line Like the Prince Germany royal household for ex..Remember Hrh Prince Henry's ancestors had a third born become king over the first two.......Then his great grand father became king over his brother,,,then his grandmother...

    Source(s): Parliament and royal family private books and current laws to succession.......
