if you're under medication, are you really not allowed to drink alcoholic drinks?

i'm taking phenytoin sodium (dilantin) 3x a day.. am i not allowed to drink alcoholic drinks? I don't drink alcohol everyday.. only on special occasions.. but can I drink? occasionally?

    If it says not to then don't, you will be as sick as a dog.
