besides the JWs, which other denominations of Christianity dont believein the trinity/jesus being YHWH himself?

I'm far from believing in the Jehovah's witness doctrine and the NWT bible, which really doesn't seem sound to me for reasons which í won't write because I don't want to offend those that are JWs, but also I can't accept the teachings of other churches that teach the trinity because it is clearly not true, Yeshua is NOT YHWH but His son, e couldn't have stated it clearer.

Ive read many versions of the bible and the original untranslated versions such as Hebrew manuscripts, the latín vulgate (from which the KJV and the catholic bibles were transcribed) and Greek manuscripts, and I find that in my understanding the NIV is the best general translation though for the old testament the CJB is very accurate, written by hebrew-fluent torah-studying Jews, and the Tree Of Life new testament written by Messianic Jews which also generally recognise that Yeshua was the messiah and son of God but not God and that there's no 'god the son', 'Godhead' or 'trinity' in genuine scripture.

The trinity appears to stem from Babylonian mystery paganism and therefore satanism and it definitely doesn't seem legit doctrine.

Now my question isn't about the trinity, I don't need Catholics and hyped up 'fundis' raving on about the trinity and worshipping Jesús etc...

But about which groups or churches don't believe in the trinity, but pure monotheism?

Cheers

Not a trinitarian here but I disagree with you whole heatedly.

You really haven't read hebrew manuscripts or greek manuscripts or you would know what you say is blatantly untrue.

Perhaps you read only looking at the content and not in the broader spectrum on context and continuity?

Who is our Savior? Yeshua So the New Testament tells us.

Who is our saviour? YHVH So the old testament tells us

Who is our rock? Yeshua so the new testament tells us

who is our Rock? YHVH so the old testament tells us.

How many people have seen the Father? One .. Yeshua so the new testament tells us.

How many people have seen YHVH? many .. so the old testament tells us

In Genesis 1:1 in the hebrew what does the non translated pointer point us to? The Aleph Tav

In Revelation 1 who does Yeshua claim to be. The alpha and Omega which is the Aleph Tav in for the greek alphabet.

I have four witnesses. I could list many more I haven't even talked about John 1:1-3 but I perceive you are a 'One Godder" and trying to talk to them is like beating your head against a brick wall.

I just gave the four for everyone else who might be intrigued by your nonsense. To set the record straight.

If you had actually read the greek and hebrew texts you would have known these things.

The problem is believing that Jesus did everything he did on simple human authority. This cannot be the case as humans do not raise from the dead.

However God cannot die and the doctrine that God died is seen as both blasphemy and heresy across all denominations. So people have divided the Messiah into a human nature and a divine nature. They say that it wasn't his divinity that died but his humanity. However, the scriptures do not make a clear distinction between his human nature and his divine nature.

Also, the Trinity has failed to explain the distinction between the Father and the Son. If Jesus is God then there is absolutely no distinction between the two, yet the doctrine of the Trinity teaches that there is. So how can there be a distinction and, at the same time, be not distinct but 100% the same? Even the best theologians say that this is impossible to understand. Therefore, it is illogical to even think of it.

I think it is best to explain it this way. If I decided to give you $5, who gave you that $5? Was it God? Of course. But I am not God. I am James. I am also not divine. But yet, God did give you that $5.

So what is clear from that example is that it is God 100% of the way. And God does use people (especially the Messiah) to accomplish all of his purpose.

I'm 17 and a jw my grandpa is non denominational... I talk to him a lot and we both agree and disagree a lot... But we both agree that the trinity is not biblical... I think there are lots of people in other Christian religions who think that the trinity is not true or see I inconsistency with that teaching in the bible. I'm not sure what other Christian doctrines teach or don't teach the trinity. But I'm glad there are other people who study the bible instead of being force feed what ever the preachers says and not even opening their bibles. And I'm sick of people saying you have to believe in the trinity to be Christian because that's bull &$% your a Christian when you accept Jesus as your savior.

How long will you be limping upon two different opinions? If Jehovah is the true God, go following him; but if Baal is, go following him.” The Israelites were claiming to worship Jehovah but at the same time were worshiping Baal. Their course was unsteady and halting, like that of a lame man.

The Bible tells us that Jehovah “gives wisdom” to his servants. Unlike human philosophies, the wisdom that comes from God is not vague.

Have you prayed for wisdom and understanding. Pray incessantly. 1Thess 5:17

As far as I know, JWs are the only ones that are proud to claim the Trinity is pagan false doctrine. Maybe some others too. Before I became a JW, I didn't believe the trinity lie, but I never argued it because I thought the preachers were smarter than me and I didn't want to look stupid.

Source(s): 76 years of common sense, 65 years of research and 50 years of Bible study and 40 years as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. I don’t make any snap decisions.

Most Messianics, all the Oneness Pentecostals, lots of Hebrew Roots groups, the (biblical) Nazarenes (not to be confused with those Protestants who use the same term), some of the Armstrongites. I think most of the Ephraimites do (but they usually fall into Hebrew Roots groups). and individual Independent congregations where ever.

I believe that these are the largest sects

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-trinitarian#Chris...

Probably the Jehovah's Witnesses (at 7+ million members) are the largest non-trinitarian primarily English-speaking Christian sect. Iglesia ni Christo (primarily Filipino) is probably the largest non-trinitarian Christian sect.

P.S. Your information and research are sorely lacking. You have made many factual errors in your second paragraph, and the third paragraph is based on complete and total misinformation. I recommend that you refer to a **scholarly reference text** when researching the doctrine of trinity and/or when researching the source of Bible translations. Several scholarly histories of "the English Bible" are available on Google Books, and even Wikipedia's information is accurate compared to what you have written in the second and third paragraphs!!!

Christadelphians, Christian Scientists, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons lol), Dawn Bible Students, Friends General Conference, Iglesia ni Cristo, La Luz del Mundo, Living Church of God, Oneness Pentecostals, Members Church of God International, Unitarian Universalist Christians and the United Church of God.

There's loads more but you'll learn about them if you look up some of these guys.

In general just search for non-trinitarianism.

there are hindus and muslims that teach otherwise than the trinity

the mormons are the greater church/religion that reproves the doctrine of the trinity.

joseph smith, founding prophet, first elder claimed that the doctrine of the trinity is the imagination of a man.

I take it you don't want to hear any argument contrary to what you have decided to believe. I would like to point out that most cults of Christianity are pure monotheistic. (Islam, yes it is a cult of Christianity, JW's Mormon, Oneness Pentecostal, and others.) The cults almost all have one thing in common, they deny that Jesus is God in the flesh.

Be aware that if you get in a cult they will practice mind control on you and use unethical coercive techniques on you. After you have picked your cult to join and have suffered abuse from them, I would recommend you read a book like "Kingdom of the Cults" explaining all that you were not willing to find out before you got in.
