*World War 1 and World War 2, both involved invasions of another country.
*Napoleon marched his French troops to invade Russia, almost all of his troops died from frostbite, hypothermia and starvation. Hitler did the exact same thing.

Rome and the USA's downfall. Easy.
Rome was the center of the world, admired, powerful, and very technological. The government began to fail, emperors starting to spend on themselves and pay no mind to Rome. Barbarians began to invade, and Rome separated into two empires. One lasted until the 1400's, while the one with true Rome fell.
The US is the center of the world. It is admired, people want to be there, it's full of new technology. THe government began to increase spending. Ileagle immigrants began to invade...
The Crusades
Once upon a time, there were knights in shining armour. No. These knights lived in the middle ages. Muslims were causing trouble for the trade routes and the Christian knights were being a handful in Europe. So the pope sent them to go kill the Muslims, and the majority of the fighting was over Jerusalem .
Today, we have Muslims attacking cities, beheading people, all these awful things. We have soldiers that need places to go. We send them to the middle east to help their government and help instill our beliefs unto them. Except this time, it's government and not religion
