why do people take poisonous medicine, do they really think the drug companies want them to be healthy?

Yours is a very legitimate question since about a dozen medicines must be taken to counter the side effects of one.

All medications, even home brews have side effects. It is paramount that one finds a Doctor that wants to cure an illness instead of treating a complaint! were i come from its very open on weed.... it is illegal but you can count on it that no one will really care.... everyone know that weed isint that dangerous and doesnt have addictive properties... no where in the bible does it say weed is a sin unless it says being impared is... in wich case drinking the blood of christ could also be considered a sin to a certain extent.... the bible is guideline not a rulebook think for yourself, judge for yourself whether or not you think weed is good and is a sin... just realize all the fact and dont get sucked into the rumours and bullcrap that the drug companies have made and the false information created by the drug wars to pull voters onto their side.... marijuana is very near being decriminalised and soon after comes legalisation... the only thing holding it back is the fact that its so easy to grow and the governement couldnt make money off of it like they do cigarettes

I have never even taken a Tylenol or an aspirin in my entire life!! I choose to treat myself naturally when needed....which is not very often since I also avoid all processed foods and only drink natural spring water. The side-effects of these drugs made by Big Pharma are often far worse than what is being treated. Here is the possible side-effects of Paxil which is used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety.

I mean seriously?? I think dealing with any of these side-effects would cause me more anxiety and depression!!!! If a drug has the possibility to cause all these side-effects it can't possibly be good for you. I read somewhere that the 3rd leading cause of death in the US is from pharmaceutical drugs. I avoid ALL pharmaceuticals for myself and my family!! I also avoid doctor's and hospitals.

Prescription drugs are an epidemic in the United States. There are more people abusing prescription drugs now, than ever before. I liked it better when everyone smoked cigarettes. At least they did not overdose on Oxycontin.

It used to be about helping your fellow man. Now, it seems more about the money.

Because drug companies end up benefitting in the end. For example, radiation gets rid of Tumors, but then later on causes ovarian cancer or something.

sometimes i think that's the whole reason they may have not come up with a cancer cure yet because the pharmaceutical company's have enough money to keep a cure under raps so they can keep you on these cancer slowing meds for years while their pharma corps get richer. I also know that they hike up prices on meds that save children's lives because they know parents will try anyway to get that money for that med. 3 times as much as it should cost is one figure. thats below low

Since ancient times man has used plants and natural means to heal the body. Big pharma comes along and now it's take these pills and kill yourself.

I'm a big fan of drug companies. With out their drugs I'd be dead.
