Should I Just Stop Talking To Him?

So, my ex and I broke up a looong time ago.We were on and off for a while but at the time he didn't think I was "interested" anymore and he started dating another girl to make me jealous. I hadn't talked to him since. About six months ago, we had just gotten back into touch and after some confusion, I told him I didn't want to get together. He insisted that we still be friends.

Now, I hadn't hung out with him since that. He showed up at a party I was going to and we talked and it was fine.

But it all went to crap from there, quite a few drinks later, because he almost got into a fight with a guy that had kissed me at the party. The other guy insisted that they just talk it out, and my ex spilled his guts about how he was still in love with me and he f***ed up. He ended up pouting outside for a good hour or so.

Oh, and he even had the balls to ask me out to the movies the next night, which I said no to. Considering that he can't handle just being friends and I will be seeing other people. I can't be with him just one-on-one anymore because I don't want things to get mixed up in his head.

So, I still have absolutely no feelings for my ex anymore. I've expressed that on multiple occasions and I think its ridiculous that I should have to tiptoe around him, when he's the one that wanted to stay friends. If he's gonna pitch a fit every time I'm with another guy, should I end the friendship?

I think it's good that you say no when he asks you out. I think you should end the friendship and just stop talking to him. He's clearly just a bunch of trouble.

Why are you holding the bag, he is the one with the issues. If you end the friendship, do you think this will all go away? What is wrong with him? Why is he doing this and why doesn't he end it?
