Does god always get what it wants?
Micheal Cullis: The bible points out many things that god has requested its followers to do. This constitutes a want. A want that if not satisfied to gods satisfaction will cause god too torture you for eternity in hell.
Lowly: Daddy is a strange translation to me. I'm not sure that was part of the vernacular when the bible was written. Father is the term I was taught. It is not in the name of daddy, son and the holy ghost/spirit. The only thing you can deduce from scripture is that god is referred to using the words generally used when speaking about a male. Your answer does not address the "male what" as it is not human or any species that we have seen fit to label. Our mental image of god is what god wants it to be so that our meager intellect can grasp it, not its actual appearance. Generally when we refer to something that we have not clearly identified or labelled, we us "it" as in: we do not know what it is. Interesting use of daddy though...."...in a most intimate, caring, and personal way."

1 Timothy 2: 3-4 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
So no, God does not get everything he wants since he wants everyone to be saved and this is not going to happen. They will come to a knowledge of the truth but for some it will be too late.

Given that God is omnipotent and omniscient, then the answer is 'yes'. It is not possible for something to occur without God's consent, ergo he always gets what he wants.
So, either the world is exactly the way God wants it to be right now, or he is not omniscient and/or omnipotent. The latter option of course includes the possibility that he doesn't exist at all.

In response, it is helpful to point out the difference between a God, who is "Abba", or in English..."
daddy", and a god who can be described as "it".
One is intensely personal, and related to yourself in a most intimate, caring, and personal way. Afraid "it" cannot adequately do any of those things. As Christians, we are taught to pray that the will of "daddy" be done, on earth, as it is...always...in heaven. This is not a sad thing to be resigned to, or an impersonal, cold and distant state of affairs. It is , in a word picture like being invited to a special birthday party just for you, in which your every hearts desire is lovingly provided for you...by someone who knows you better than you know your own self.
If that seems to much to believe, try this: NO eye has seen, no ear has heard the things which God (not "it") has prepared for those who love Him. Google it and you should be able to find the context for that scripture. If anything, it will far exceed the birthday party imagery.
And yes, God always gets what he wants.

Yes, he does.
It is impossible for an all knowing God to not get whatever it wants, because he is all knowing, all powerful, & never does anything that he DOESN'T WANT to do.

Your question implies that gods are concerned with "winning" and "losing." Why would a being with the power to create the universe concern itself with such trivialities?

God is love. Love is found on earth in nature humans and knowledge of mystical spiritual love in our souls. Love is everywhere in fact where there isn't any sin. This love is from God and is God. God is closer than you think. He is in you.... til the end

What He wants? Always?
From the persons He wants to get it from? Not so much.
