Why is my cat so crazy for Dreamies cat treats?
So I bought a packet of cat treats for my cat, Dreamies chicken flavour and now she goes crazy for them. If I rustle the packet she comes running and her eyes dilate. If I hold a treat above her head she will go on her hind legs and gobble it up. I don't do this often because I think it's cruel but I always give her a treat when the packet gets rustled as it would be mean otherwise.
Anyway now she follows me around everywhere and doesn't eat her normal cat food properly.
Are Dreamies bad for cats? If not, how can I get her to eat her normal food properly instead of craving treats? Should I stop buying them?

My cat is crazy for them too and has even lost a bit of weight because of them. she also follows me around too. I don't think they're bad for cats, i asked the vet, but it would be wise to cut down. Just give them to her when she's good (we have a hard time getting our cat in when we let her out, so we give her some when she comes in by herself).

Yup the advert wasn't lying! Lol my cat is exactly the same. If you read the back of the packet it tells you the recommended daily allowance- either that or look up the website and it will tell you.
