And another 15 percent think that our debt, unemployment and Obama Care is normal

Apathy is the final step to Bondage. When ObamaCare kicks in and their premiums rise, their benefits decrease, and they are taxed on the employer contribution, they will see what a mess the country is in. Many of the clueless have their hand out to the government in the "Give Me" generation where they do not give a damn about the debt because they get their welfare check. They are not concerned about unemployment because they have no intention of working and losing their check, EBT cards, and reduced rent payments. And they are not concerned about Obama Care because they are on Medicaid and will not have to worry about rising premiums and taxes because they get free care paid for those of us who will struggle to pay our added premiums and taxes imposed by this idiotic monster law known as Obama Care. Many people are clueless about Obama Care because it is the intent of Obama and the Congress to keep Americans in the dark as long as possible because if they knew the outcry would be terrible. It may ruin Obama in 2014 and make him a lame duck because his name is attached to this "train wreck" as one Democratic Senator put it.

Well, considering how the United States has lasted longer than the normal Democratic Republic (they usually don't make 200 years) I think it will last a while longer. And the low information(clueless) voters are those who are accusing everyone else of being low information(clueless) voters because they see what you do not.

There will always be those who choose to be informed, and those who don't care. However, I do believe our country will survive awhile longer in spite of current events. Each administration seems to have some sort of issue or scandal going on. Unfortunately, that's politics.

I actually heard that number of clueless was much higher than that like in the 40's% and after that only a small number actually follow along. This is how you loose your country and it is showing!

Knowing about events does not matter if they can do nothing to change them, it is just a hobby for political junkies. A far better use of your time is changing the thing you can, doing your job as well as you can and being nice to the people you encounter.

20%? If you add together the dumb people and the Tea Party you must get more than 20%. But perhaps I am double counting.
