When will our leaders put an end to unfit teachers abusing American Children?
How can we allow teachers that can’t comprehend the difference between children playing and a real physical threat to instruct our children?
These knee-jerk overreactions to children playing with anything that even remotely resembles a gun comes just days after another kindergartner was punished by school officials and forced to apologise for bringing a tiny miniature lego gun onto a school bus.
The list of previous incidents of this nature is now so long that it has prompted Maryland Sen. J. B. Jennings to introduce a bill to stop such idiotic over reactions being played out over and over again in schools.
==================================================
In March, a 7-year-old boy from Maryland was suspended for unintentionally biting his pop tart into the shape of a gun.
A third grader in Michigan was reprimanded by school officials when he brought a cupcake to school with a plastic toy soldier, holding a gun, on top of it.
A ten year old Virginia boy who was arrested for taking a plastic toy gun to school was forced to deal with a potentially permanent criminal record over the incident.
A student in Florence, Arizona was recently suspended because he had a picture of a gun on his computer.
A six-year-old kindergartner in South Carolina was suspended for taking a small transparent plastic toy gun to school for a show and tell.
A five-year-old in Massachusetts who faced suspension for building a small toy gun out of lego bricks and play-shooting his classmates.
We also reported on an incident that erupted when a discussion between two children about a toy nerf gun caused a lockdown and a massive armed police response at two elementary schools in the Bronx.
In another incident, a Long Island high school was also placed on lock down for 6 hours in response to a student carrying a toy nerf gun.
The nerf gun was once again the deadly weapon of choice as a university campus in Rhode Island was placed on lockdown, causing panic and minor injuries when a stampede to flee the building ensued.
In another incident, a teacher at Malden High School in Massachusetts who glimpsed sight of a “gun”, alerted police who rushed to the scene only to discover a neon water pistol. School officials then vowed to track down the suspect who brought the toy to school using surveillance cameras.
A South Philadelphia elementary student was searched in front of classmates and threatened with arrest after she mistakenly brought a “paper gun” to school.
A 6-year-old boy was suspended from his elementary school, also in Maryland, for making a gun gesture with his hand and saying “pow”.
Another two 6-year-olds in Maryland were suspended for pointing their fingers into gun shapes while playing “cops and robbers” with each other.
A couple of second grade students at a Virginia elementary school were recently suspended for two days after violating the school’s “zero tolerance” policy on weapons when they pointed pencils at other students and made gun noises.
In Oklahoma, a five-year-old boy was also recently suspended for making a gun gesture with his hand.
A 13-year-old Middle School seventh grade student in Pennsylvania was also suspended for the same hand gesture.

Your question specifies "unfit teachers abusing" and so I was expecting you to give examples where a teacher physically or emotionally abuses a student. Of your 14 examples, 12 describe the actions of administrators, not teachers. Of your 14 examples, 13 describe SUSPENSION, not ABUSE. The one exception was "A South Philadelphia elementary student was searched in front of classmates" and this may or may not have been done in an abusive manner.
Teachers are employees. They don't run the school system, they just work for it. No teacher has the power to unilaterally suspend a student. If a school system's policy is for teachers to respond in a certain way to "gun gestures" or to a "toy gun" then these teachers will be in trouble if they DO NOT follow the school policy.
The whole issue of "response to toy guns in school" aside, it is very curious that you chose to scape goat the teachers here rather discussing the pros and cons of such system policies.

Gun is a good thing, depend on how you use it I think some teachers want to lead the children to the safe environment, but just the reaction too strong, let's put in this way, teach child need to be soft and slow, and of cause need in school and their own family lead in the same time, I think the best way is calling the parents, have a meeting with them see what the parents think about, you know some family teaching the kid how to use the machine guns, you know if the family agree the child should raise with gun so be it, it's a freedom country, just pray when they grow up not come to your house to shoot you, so don't piss them off, bad for the business.
Gun don't kill people! either they kill themselves or the others will do it, so relax.

1 play imitates life which in many cases is a real concern
2 it is a reaction of our entire society not just teachers
3 there is more to be concerned about like when will parents and society accept the fact that school is not about extended day care to look after you Little Problems so you can resume your Bull S H I T career
4 Overindulged children being allowed to abuse everybody around them is a much bigger problem

I just a article of a dude teacher having a fling with a 14 year old boy who will get away with it. This is Liberal change. They let crooks go and attack pro-life orgs- tea party orgs and pro-Israel orgs. Its shocking to watch really- Everything really is upside down.
If a Muslim wore a shirt saying Allah ??? he would be ignored by the school.
If a Christian wore a shirt saying I love Jesus they get suspended or sent home!!

The problem is not with teachers, it is with the school system administrators. Nevertheless if nearly 30% of Americans stopped more than two children (sometimes many more), school districts could be more selective of applicants for both groups.

Many teacher think that they have the right to do these things. They are wrong ! Keep your views to yourself teach child the truth! I know you have been taught that you are like a GOD & have all the answers. You have been brain washed to in college how to be a liberal. The public colleges of America is the breeding ground for liberals.
