Smith & Wesson Sigma series 9MM holster?

I need to know if a Smith & Wesson Sigma 9MM auto pistol will fit correctly in a holster made for the Smith & Wesson M&P series pistols. The type of holster needs to be a fitted holster and not a universal fit nylon type holster. I was thinking of a polymer holster like an iTac or a Blackhawk Serpa. But I need to know if an M&P holster will fit the Sigma pistol. Or any other fitted type holsters that will interchange with a Sigma. I prefer that only people who are knowledgeable of holsters and handguns reply.

    ACTUALLY, August, you are wrong.

The Sigma series WILL fit most holsters designed for the M&P.. especially the Blackhawk Serpa. (check Blackhawk's website, and the holsters themselves, they say for sigma AND M&P). This is due the the M&P being based on the Sigma frame (see correlations in the trigger guard, trigger design, and grip angle). so YES most M&P holsters will fit the Sigma of the same caliber, and vice-versa. The SD series isn't much of a difference in design from the original sigma or the SW series.
