Do colleges notify you, if you aren't taken of the waitlist?
I was waitlisted for a college. And I was wondering if they tell you if you aren't taken off the list.

It depends on the college, some will, some will not. Call up the college and ask, if you will be taken off the waitlist, by what day will you be informed and if they finish the admissions process, will you be informed of that. Unfortunately, for some colleges, they will take kids off the waitlist all summer, so that is not helpful in your planning. Check frequently online (on your account with the college) or by email to see if you were admitted, just in case. Make sure they have your correct email to contact you. Several of my son's friends were just admitted off the waitlist to their top choices, a nice graduation present.
