Is there some tutorial available to learn how to use Facebook?
I'm new at it and there must be an awful lot I don't know.

Hi Foremost:
We are "in the same boat" re FB. I'm new to it, too, and feel like I'm missing out on a lot of the social aspects. Like u, I am not a teen minnow swimming happily in the Sea of Cyber where FB has its HQ..
Being an essentially solitary type, I like communicating via Y!A--presenting myself as the expert I am not--and via plain vanilla emai and occasionally FB. Occasionally being the watch word.
Brad's offering looks helpful. I checked it out. You get a snippet of a longer course by "Lynda.com."
I was in a Barnes & Noble recently and was floored to see there's an Idiot's Guide to FB. It looked quite substantial. [I considered buying it]
Beware of FB. A friend recently emailed me--it came up on my Gmail--asking if I'd like to get together in a few days.
Sure! I replied. Days passed and I had no follow up from her. Weird. Not like her. So, finally, the day before our supposed meeting, I looked to see if I'd actually sent an email to her. Oh yes, there it was, but the address it went to was gobble-dee-****. FACEBOOK!
Facebook wanted me to go via them, not my Gmail. So FB screwed me and I'm not happy. I'm wary.
We'd both made other plans in the meantime.
OK, that's it from Cam. You have the sum total of my helpfulness on the FB universe.
