Elsewhere=somewhere ELSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
E.g. I live in England, you live in Spain. So, I live somewhere, but YOU live somewhere else!! =somewhere DIFFERENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only real difference between somewhere else and elsewhere, is that somewhere else is what you use in every day language, but you use "elsewhere" for sounding a bit more posh. Like, "the plants originate from elsewhere", meaning they come from a different place, rather than just *from some random other place*.
