How do you make the perfect toaster strudel?
The Pillsbury ones you buy. I have yet to meet anyone who can make them perfect. They are either frozen in the middle or burnt. Any ideas to get them unfrozen but not too dark?

I put it in the toaster at medium setting, then after I heat it in the microwave for a few seconds. Works every time! :)

It must be their toaster. There are toasters that provide varying heat levels based on bread thickness, bread temperature and other factors. Come into the 21st century. I have a umm $9 Sunbeam toaster that I set to 2 & let it pop and rest for a minute. I then set it back to three(normal setting) and toast a second time. Sure I invest more time but there is NO comparison between the made-from-scratch french fries that are cooked once and cooked twice. People try playing with the dial when they should be adding a step instead of burning the fries and leaving their interiors raw. Some choose to blanch and then deep fry @ 370. Others choose to deep fry @ 300F or 325, drain and then deep fry at 375. I prefer slicing and rinsing my russet potatoes, drying well with paper towel, deep fry @ 300F for 3 minutes in a Chefmate Deep Fryer($29.99), draining and drying the fries again and finally deep fry @ 375 for an additional 3 or 4 minutes. Adding a step MIGHT be the only way to give you a perfect strudel apart from making it from scratch. What's that thing that separates tastes good and sinfully delicious? Love.

First you gather water from the Himalayas. Travel to the rainforests of South America and use said water to grow a forest. When the forest steadily produces fruit, find the tallest tree on the biggest hill and pluck the fruit from the highest branches.
Serve your toaster strudel with that fruit and it shall be glorious.
