My dog has puked 10 times in the last three days?

We think he may have eaten dead bird I saw in the yard before hand, but now 3 days later he's puked a total of 10 times and I have no idea what to do. He's had nothing but dogfood, he's a boxer, 2 years old if that helps. The bird though should be out of his system by now so I'm not sure what's going on.

Hurry get him to the vet!! he has been continually puking, which is not a good sign.

he could have salmonella poisoning from eating raw meat, especially a raw bird!

it is sometimes OK to leave throwing up or diarrhea for three days, but if it doesn't stop by then you really need to take him to a vet. it already had been three days, get him in ASAP. 10 times is WAY to many times to just let it go.

and you need to take him off food for at least 12-24 hrs. that way his stomach will empty out and he will feel much better. then give him some rice with chicken broth, or Gatorade. VERY important, make sure he is drinking GALLONS of water, dehydration is what you really need to worry about.

    hope he feels better soon.

I can't understand owners of lovely dogs who allow them to suffer even if I had no Insurance for my pet I would go without meals to get him to a vet, this dog has to see a Vet soon because once a Boxer loses weight they find it hard to put it back on. This can't go on another day so get the dog to a Vet because he could have a serious infection. I hope he gets well soon

He most likely has gotten sick from the bird. If the puking continues after today, my best advice would be to take him to the vet, just to make sure he's okay!

he might have eaten something else when you weren't watching. my friend's dog ate chocolate and was throwing up for two days. it turns out my friend didn't know chocolate was toxic for dogs, luckly he is fine now, but definitely take him to the vet, it's a no brainer

If a dog vomits for more than 24 hours you need to contact your vet immediately. He might be poisoned.

completely agree - in actuality I tell human beings this constantly, extraordinarily the bit approximately them on no account becoming up and leaving abode! yet have exciting - regardless of all the negatives, there's a lifetime of pluses.

The bird most likely wouldnt hurt him so i dont think it would cause that. Call the vet, its always better safe than sorry

I would ask why as well -

but that would be WHY ARE YOU WATCHING YOUR DOG VOMIT FOR THREE DAYS?

Your dog is in obvious trouble. Get him to an emergency clinic. NOW.

ADDED - I wouldn't wait for a dog to vomit for more than half an hour - never a full day.
