Recourse for Insurance Renewal not Authorized?
I had insurance on my web retail business for the past few years and had to renew each year. This year, I told the agent I wanted to cancel, and he acknowledged. Now they're saying they renewed my policy and want me to pay. What is my recourse?

You send the declarations page back to the agent, and write "cancel flat" across the front of it. Scan and email it to him, follow up with a call and see if he needs to get the original copy back.
And don't pay the bill.

Tell you agent since they failed to do their duty you are going after their E&O policy. They will clear up any issue you have with them
