heat lamp on cutting board?
Where is the best placement for the heat lamp being a right hander, top right, low right , left side or even dead center on top or side any suggestions, its a fathers day gift and i kinda wanted it to be put together when presented, guess i could wait to ask .
Not sure of the brand at this moment it is still in box, and yes they left it optional as far as where i want to put it, a left hand person may choose a different side i suppose, i seen pics online and they are all in different positions, i was hoping for someone that would just say usually its always on the right etc. As for the second poster, a heat lamp on a carving board is alot for presentation with the red light and it keeps the meat hot while carving, just while carving, a prime rib for instance at a catering event you dont want the rib roast going cold for the people not first in line also the hard maple wood helps kill bacteria but thats a whole other story. Thanks for your help folks signed the retard lol

I am sorry but we really need an image or a brand so we can view one as from what you say it is optional, and to me I think the centre, as at the light from other directions the hand may throw shadows
I will return to see if you have added an image
For the first answer report him and in the box write 'insulting other members' or your own words, I just copied and paste it from the page

A heat lamp on a cutting board? Why? Wouldn't that sort of turn the cutting board into a bacterial high growth zone? especially on a meat/bird cutting board. And what effect would the heat have on any veggies you might cut? I'm in the dark on this one. Unless the light is a UV germkiller. Could you explain a bit more, now you have me curious.
