What are the chances of my job hiring me if I missed the deadline for a drug test?
I just recently applied for a job and the manager assured me that I would be hired as soon as I finished my drug test. I took it 2 days later and I just found out that I was supposed to take it in a 24 hour time span. I don't know now if I'll still be hired simply because I was unaware that I was supposed to take the drug test within 24 hours...
Do you think I could still be hired? I've never taken any drugs in my life, but I'm anxious about the 24 hours thing!

Whether or not that's a problem depends on the manager and the policies of the place that wants to hire you, and why the mistake happened.
For instance, if they forgot to tell you about the 24 hour deadline until 2 days later and they know they forgot, then it won't count against you unless they're jerks.
On the other hand if they DID tell you at the beginning, right to your face, or it was written in something they gave you at the beginning that you should have read right away, then they might figure you're forgetful and won't want to hire you.
