I want to know how I can set Facebook not to allow people that are not my friends to send me PMs and if this is even possible. Thanks

On the top right of your screen click the lock
Then click “Who can contact me?”
Then tick the box “Strict Filtering”

Go to your privacy settings - "who can contact me?" click on Strict Filtering
