I'm glad you specified which holocaust you were referring to. Many here think one must assume reference to the Jews when the word holocaust is mentioned but the crimes committed against the Native Americans were just as bad if not worse.

It goes untold because there was never any recompense for the Native Americans. No reconciliation and no amends have ever been made for the crimes those foreigners committed against the Natives. Today the Jews have 3/4 of Palestinian land which they have renamed Israel and they receive millions each year from the United States of America. They have nuclear weapons and international recognition (most nations)

What did the Native American's get? Spat on that's what. Today the few that are left are living in huts on the outskirts of the mainland, feeding off the scraps. They have no representative in the US Government, they have no seats in the Senate, they are not represented in their homeland. They suffer racial abuse from these "new" white Americans who now claim to be indigenous and they live in fear. Every single treaty the US Government made with the Native Americans were broken one way or another which is a situation I would describe as a bigger con than the '40 acres and a mule' promise that never materialised. The United Nations didn't partition the land like they did Palestine, they gave the Native Americans nothing.

That's why you don't hear about it, but poor 'Israel' huh? Yeah, everyone has to have that story rammed down their throats repeatedly even though amends were made.

The atrocities committed against the LEGAL residents of North America are quietly swept under the rug of history. After all, it is the victors who write the histories---not those who suffer the defeat.
