Do he call as Alcoholic ?

My friend age 50 ;drinks alcohol 4 months in year but strictly avoid in "Jeshtha;Ashadh ;Shravan , Kartiq ;Margashirsha ,Falgun & Chaitra' the Indian holi months,

When he take drinks 2 times / week.

Can he call as Alcoholic ?

    No, he is not alcoholic. Drinking once or twice a week is not addiction but that two times should be in limit.

    Alcoholics go to meetings, drunks do to parties.

    Since your friend only drinks at certain times, and then only 2 times a week he is not an alcoholic.

    Yes he is alcoholic , i know it very well , since me too alcoholic.
