lazy assistant at work?

The assistant in the team is very lazy and does not want to do any of the admin as it is beneath him.

As a result, the admin either does not get done or the rest of the team have to do it.

It is the assistant's responsibility.

    Just all of you (i mean all nobody cracking and doing it because it's there etc) stop doing anything connected with him. Then it'll show up his rather pathetic attitude and finally someone higher up the food chain will notice and take action. People like this evade for so long because if you/others are like me hate the sight of stuff being not taken care of quickly. This person needs a wake up call or better still his p45 if he thinks that a bit of filing/paper chasing is beneath him..really

    The rest of you need to complain to management. If there is a disciplinary procedure at work, then the lazy assistant can be put in the position of having to get on with his duties or get out!

    Tell him either he does the work or he's fired make sure he knows he's just an assistant he's there to help you and if he's not doing that then he's gone
