Also they were told to write them on the door frames and beams of their houses to remind them of the Word of God. A nation that has forgotten God generally is destroyed there after for judgement comes upon that people and that nation.

The entire world does NOT live as Americans do for they have been blessed by God so this 'society' you speak of is...

'society' = the [we the]'people' of the nation[in this case, the U.S.] in the land[Job38:26 - 'mystery'] of America.

As for the USA: Scopes'[1925AD] and 'school prayer'[1962AD] and PBS[1969AD] and '10 Commandments' moved from SCOTUS all pretty much answer that question to the godless generations of 'X'[118th]. 'Y'[119th] and the 'millenials'['Z'] (according to Gen6:3 and Mt1:17 & 2013AD)

You need to define "Israel". The world clearly does not care about teaching God. Those of us who consider ourselves the new "Israel"...spiritual descendants of Abraham (ie God's elect) certainly better be teaching our kids! We pray and read the bible together, and send them to a private Christian school. It is the least I can do to show my thankfulness to God for His blessing us with 4 wonderful kids!
