None!
Software Suite - Microsoft Office, Lotus Suite, etc are still being sold.
Educational Software - Known as BST, any software used for educational purpose, i.e, Lets learn ABC, Photoshop Tutor, etc
Beta versions - Firefox 22 Beta, Photo Cad Beta, before the original version is created a beta version is made.
Web-based applications - PHP, Flash, Visual Studios , PageIn, etc all exist.

Please tell me your definition of an "EMERGENCY". What you are asking is hardly something that would be an emergency to most people.
None of the above is an absolute answer since you could argue for/against each.
software suite - Collection of applications that normally would cost more individually
educational software - Lower cost software for students, but wouldn't be permitted for commercial use
beta versions - Normally given out for free with license restrictions. Some companies only give licenses that last for a restricted period of time, then require upgrading to the official release version to continue using. May also require that you provide feedback on usage.
Web-based applications - Cheaper than retail software delivered by CD. Nothing (or minimal client side component) to install on the client. You get the software at a cheaper price initially, but you must continue paying for it to use it, unlike a one time purchase.
So as you can see, any of these "could" be discounted compared to a full retail license.

Educational versions.
They are meant to be used by teachers, professors, students etc. and are sold at (usually much) lower prices.
