A question about superman and thor?
Both superman and thor are from other planets, superman is kryptonian and thor is asgardian....yet the they and their races speak English....and they both landed in USA when they were sent to earth, that is too much of a co-incidence....don't u think?? how did kryptonians and asgardians learn English? and why English especially? and how come superman and thor both landed in USA specifically on earth?? I don't get it

I don't know how Thor ended up landing in the USA. He should have landed in Europe.
Jor-El on the other hand aimed the rocket at Kansas. He used his powerful space telescope to look for a suitable place for Kal-El to land and be taken care of.

Kryptonians knowing English when they are shown on Earth makes sense. Superman can think at faster than light speeds, so he could easily learn any language in a couple of seconds. He can already speak just about any Earth language and several alien ones already. The same applies to Kryptonians. As for speaking it on their homeworld, well it's most likely they aren't speaking English but rather speaking their own language, but translated for the audience.
As for the Asgardians... umm... narrative convenience.
In terms of them landing in the USA, good aim maybe.

It is due to a necessary mechanism within story telling known as "The Suspension of Disbelief"
The experience of both Superman and Thor is one in which the writer has familiarity. Generally speaking, writers of fictional tales draw from their own experience, or from that about which they have knowledge, to originate a believable place for their characters to dwell within.
Just so happens that the creators of Superman and Thor are... Americans.

It's fiction so it doesn't matter.
Try not to overthink something.
It could ruin a good story ;)
