Would you tell your children ?

My mom did to educate me on sex, and what is right and wrong. People need to learn about sex somewhere, why not from their parents?

I don't have any children but what i can tell you is that as a child growing up without a father, it would have been of great help (although awkward) if my mother would have spoken to me about this.

of course you shouldn't give all the "specifics" but, letting your children know about sex and what look out for would be great.

Yes. There is nothing wrong with having an open and honest relationship. As patents we are to go source for all information and sex shouldn't be any different. I've enjoyed lots of sex over the years and when I had the sex talk with my kids we able to draw from those experience to give them a better understanding of sex.

My daughter was four years old when I divorced her mother. She was dropped off at my back door step by her mother when she was twelve and was a sexually abused child. I was and am a single working man and going to college. I was a tough time for both of us but we made it work for us both. There were some wild and crazy times.

Wendy, what kind of kids do you have? All boys or all girls? Are you thinking about telling them when you did with your brother when you were 13?

Do you really want to gross them about . . . and possibly and daughter or son in law want to keep their children from you because of your 'past experiences'.

No, I wouldn't at least, my life is private even to them as far as way back when, be it good or bad.
