what could the saints do?
St Kilda have found themselves in the unenviable position of having to decide how to handle the stephen milne allegations. How would you suggest they handle this, given the seriousness of the situation (it can not be understated how bad this is)

I think there are actually two questions of law here.
The first is 'Has Milne brought St Kilda FC into disrepute or a situation that would be contrary to his terms of engagement'. It is for SKFC to argue that one and make their determination - I think they have a pretty good argument there against a number of their players over the years.
Treating that question seriously is all you can ask of the club (at this point - it could be argued that they may have managed player culture differently before but you're asking 'what could they do'). I think suspending him is a wise choice and one they're completely entitled to take.
The second question is the legal question of rape ... I wasn't there, nor were you or anyone else on this forum I assume. I'll let justice take its course.

This is Australia. One is innocent until proven guilty.
Play the little so and so until the courts rule on his guilt or otherwise.
Personally I think he is nothing but a bottom feeder but even he is innocent at the minute.
Let him play on.
