A good exercise routine for a beginner?

Hi, I really want to get really fit and healthy so I was wondering what the best exercise routine for a beginner would be? I want to lose a little weight too. One that doesn't really need a lot of machinery because I hate gyms, I feel like everyone's staring at you! Anyways, any help I'd appreciate. Also whats the best diet to get all the vitamins and nutrients you need on a daily basis?

I also hate gym. So I exercise at home. You can do YOGA(google it) or run staying at one place or skip ropes or go to this site

This is a good cardio exercise for daily routine. I do it everyday. But as you are the beginner you can do each step of this video at a time for 5-7 mins and lay down on floor over a mattress for 5 mins by relaxing all of your muscles and deeply inhale and exhale. Then again do the other steps. Increase your steps after every 5 days.

Avoid these things like rice, potato, chocolates, butter, cakes, cookies, sugar, sauce, jam-jelly, any preserved food, oil.

And eat a lots of vegetables(any green veges), fruits(which dont increase fat) and 4 liters of water everyday. Chicken is good twice a week. And eat red meat once a month.

    Hope this will help :)

Try jogging, or plyometrics. anything that makes you breath hard and sweat means it's working

    also stretch!!!

there are a lot of proper diets out there, but the best diet (in my opinion) is the paleo diet, its exactly what your body needs, nothing more, and nothing less.. but it's hard to do

a good trick.. drink AT LEAST a gallon of water every day and the weight will start rolling off, i promise.. and eat your fruits and veggies every single day

remember, your body is like a car and the food is the fuel..

if you owned the best car in the world, you wouldnt put crappy fuel into it..

you only get one body, you cant go buy another one, why put crappy fuel into it.. eat healthey stay healthy

    sugar/carbs is BAD

    sodium is BAD

follow me on twitter, i'd be glad to help you set up a diet/ workout program

When boredom, depression, or stress causes cravings, find a nonfood way in order to meet them such as taking a walk, calling a friend, having a bath, reading a book, or perhaps doing some yoga.

Make pancakes even healthier with the help of mashed baked sweet potato, several pureed spinach and blueberries, or cooked quinoa.

For sandwich-lovers, use spinach or swiss chard leaves as an alternative to a wrap, skip the piece of cheese, and load on the veggies.

Start with walking to get used to exercising. However there are easier ways to lose weight. This one worked great for me:

Make sure you will get at least seven hours of sleep every night. Being tired makes for skipped workouts and further snacking.
