I'm not a physicist, but here's what I believe:

It is the Higgs field that provides particles with their assigned mass. It is not clear to me just what role the Higg's boson plays in that process. However, the Higg's boson is unstable and short lived before it decays into another particle type. So, no, I don't believe the Higgs boson or the Higgs field become a property of matter.

Neither. The matter (including the Higgs boson itself) has the property of interacting with the Higgs field through the exchange of Higgs bosons. That interaction is what gives matter mass.

It took 49 years to even reach a point where the existence of the "God Particle" could be verified, and even then the verification was only "tentative".

However, you cannot buy such a particle. It is not for sale, as God gives of Himself freely to humanity. Everything exists because He has decided to allow human beings to be inventive and creative. He equipped us with enough native intelligence to be able to build what is really an amazing society with some 7 billion human beings.

God matters to most of the civilized world. As for the rest...I won't get into THAT argument, as it is not really relevant.
