Is DisneyQuest worth it?

I love Disney World, but have never been to DisneyQuest. We are headed over there in mid-September, and have park hopper tickets with the "water park and more" option which, I understand, gets us into DisneyQuest. Is it worth it to burn a day on our passes to visit DisneyQuest?

I have been a couple of times, both times it was free. Its really not my kind of thing. I am not a video game person so it did not keep my attention very long. There are a couple things I really enjoyed. The bumper cars are the coolest I have ever been on. I love them. The virtual space mountain and pirates of the caribeen games are a lot of fun. It was an enjoyable way to waste a couple of hours. Its also nice that all the video games are included so you can try out the game and if you dont like then no money is lost. They do have some good ones that I enjoyed for a bit.

I do have some friends that love it. They are gamers so its make sense. If you have been to Disney a few times and have a day to spare on it then I would check it out at least once in your life. You may love it.

Oh, definitely go to a park instead.

It's fun, but I'd choose one day in Magic Kingdom over three days in DisneyQuest.

IMHO, no it isn't worth it.

I found it to be not worth even the half-price admission that I paid to get in.

I am a video game aficionado and I still found it to be lame. All the good games are constantly occupied, and honestly, I found that I had more fun at Dave and Busters.

I would spend your admission on another water park day or use it on the Mini Golf courses instead. Even an admission to the ESPN Wide World of Sports would be preferable to Disney Quest for me.

But, that's my opinion. If you have the extra day and you've done all you want to do for the "Water Park and More" admissions" then go for it.

i don't really find it worth it.

    thats just me though.

and don't get me wrong i like video games/arcades (even as an adult i still enjoy chuck e cheese) but disneyquest is overpriced, overcrowded, and underwhelming in my opinion.

you pretty much have to form a line if you want to play a game that is being played at the moment and there are not enough places to just sit.

if you have the water park fun and more option and you have done everything else you want to do with it and still have an admission left then sure its worth checking out but if not then it wouldn't be anything to be upset about skipping.

I am a member of the Disney vacation club and go to Disney often. It is absolutely, positively necessary to get the park hopper option. The best way to go is to go to the park of your choice early in the morning. Leave in the middle of the day and go back to your resort for some lunch and swimming, then about dinner time, when everyone else is coming back for dinner, head back to one of the parks. If you do not have the park hopper option, you are locked into one park. By getting the park hopper, you can come and go into any of the parks as you please. You may want to go to the Magic Kingdom in the morning, then Epcot at night. Or, for example, if the Magic Kingdom is crowded on a given day, you can jump on the monorail and shift gears. Head to Epcot or MGM instead. It just gives you the freedom to shift gears and go to different things instead of being stuck. My family and I have always found that doing one park in the AM and a differnt one in the PM is much more fun. As for DisneyQuest, to me it is half a day. I am going to get the option for my passes when I take my family in April, but I am also going to get it for the waterpark use.

I've been once, and it's been years ago. From what I remember it was okay, but I'm not one who likes video games. I went with my husband and a couple of friends. I could think of better things to do with my money.
