What are your feelings on elopement?+C/C Please and Thanks?

ELOPING WITH A ROPE

A rope may be the best of all

To keep you close-- to stem a fall

As soon as you are safely down

You both can reach your arms around

Although a trellis isn't bad

If it holds roses then you're had

Or if it crashes could you cope?

Just knowing that you needed rope

Sure--- he can push and you can steer

Then start the car, drive to the pier

Get in the outboard check the choke

Ok what's next----untie the rope!

It seems you're cheap and he's a louse

But hey there's this brought from the house

A noose for two, and new found hope

That's why the one I'd choose is rope

This is a multi-talented piece on the eight (8)

Very few snags on this as it flowed so well

and your rhyme rope hung like, well, better

    not say, it hung well.

You tied (no pun intented) relationships and

hanging oneself and/or both together like a

well packaged and wrapped wedding present.

This was 'choice.' Well done and enjoyed.

I like how you ended with hope, but depends

on what the rope is for I guess. lol

Rhymed well their is something I don't get about the rope ,I can't imagine eloping with a rope

It's a little bit stringy , a noose for two reminders my of a song about Daisy .. lol

Nice very nice poem .... I think

PS Should I be thinking .. Fifty shades of Grey ? Or something like that ?

Many thanks for avoiding the word "soap."

Very funny poem. I loved it.

Two people being simultaneously hanged with one rope is something I've never imagined until this moment. Try for a hat-trick next time.

    ;)
