  • If "THE HILLS HAVE EYES" could THE WALL have ears? C/C pls+thnks?

    THE WALLS

    She spoke to walls

    And they to her

    She heard the paint

    Upon them stir

    She could not use

    The human kind

    She'd never tried

    To cross that line

    And so she stayed

    Afraid--she cried

    'Til each streak

    On the walls had dried

    'Til "they" began

    To see her need

    And pushed her out

    Where she could breathe

    The people came

    From all around

    To hear the mute girl

    Make a sound

    They circled her

    So they could heed

    What she would say

    Since she was free

    She looked and took

    The picture in

    But what it showed

    Just took her wind

    And stumbling backwards

    In distress

    She called "the walls"

    Then met her death!

  • Have you ever been stoned?C/C pls and thanks?

GEMSTONED(answer to Lapiz D gem list poem challenge)

The peridot's left off this list

But by the August sun it's kissed

With just a hint of summers gold

It's green with envy I've been told

The garnet's darker and more dense

Than ruby with her sheer expense

While one might put you in the red

They both possess that color bled

Could onyx put you back in black?

It will if monie's what you lack

Still you can step out with cool bling

If you have onyx in your ring

And what of opal with it's veins

    Like colored horses' rhinestone reins

So many different tints and hues

    I don't think I could ever choose

Safe jasper can be worn to guard

A shamen from a foes petard

Or ward off evil hurtful vibes

To keep a wearers drive alive

The ocean pearl's a grain of sand

That's calcified with no set plan

Inside a mollusk one will form

But perfect pearls are not the norm

Topaz starts orange but mostly yellow

And it won't bust a fem or fellow

When one is blue it has been changed

    By radiation rearranged

    Lapis lazuli--intense blue stone

It has a name that fits its tone

First found in the Egyptian mines

And prized by fans since ancient times

I like the emerald gem the best

And time has put it to the test

It's classy on the neck or finger

But on the ears that glint will linger

And finally diamond, queen of gems

Yet worn by hers and worn by hims

Once judged the hardest thing on earth

A bride and bridegroom know its worth

Precious gems and jewels and stones

If you want some, you're not alone

I know some rocks aren't in this write

Perhaps I'll do part two tonight

  • Is a birthmark a good or a bad thing and what does our opinion on it say about us as people?,C/C pls. Thnks?

    BIRTHmark

A birthmark can be dark or light

But can't be seen in dark of night

They wait to make their mark by day

To make us wish they'd go away

So we could be like all the rest

The perfect shoe, the perfect dress

The perfect lock, the perfect key

The perfect you the perfect me

These marks remind us all of birth

Detail our death define our worth

Is it not we inside, who choose

To make that mark outside a bruise?

The evil in the heart's the flaw

That taints the beauty that God saw

When he created man on earth

And passed among us marks of birth

  • What are your feelings on elopement?+C/C Please and Thanks?

    ELOPING WITH A ROPE

A rope may be the best of all

To keep you close-- to stem a fall

As soon as you are safely down

You both can reach your arms around

    Although a trellis isn't bad

If it holds roses then you're had

Or if it crashes could you cope?

Just knowing that you needed rope

Sure--- he can push and you can steer

Then start the car, drive to the pier

Get in the outboard check the choke

    Ok what's next----untie the rope!

It seems you're cheap and he's a louse

But hey there's this brought from the house

A noose for two, and new found hope

That's why the one I'd choose is rope

  • RP-Is it possible you're a club member?C/C please? and thanks?

    ASSORTED MORONS

    I like my morons ordered

I like them in a row

I like to have the worst one first

To tell him where to go

I like to feel their tension-- when

I point out what they've done

I like to crack the whip a bit

If they should try to run

I like to tell or even yell

    I think that they're a pain

I like to pray-- for each to play

    In traffic in the rain

I like to watch them fidget

I like the time to creep

I like to see that digit

Or hear a brave one bleep

I need them all to beat it

I need them off my lawn

I need them far away from me

    Thank God---I think they're gone

I need to change these glasses

It appears the one's still here

    Egads, I'm in my bathroom!

I've been looking in the mirror!

  • RP--I was listening to James Bond themes,and a parody came to mind.Would you C/C pls?+thanks?

    iRONSPiNE (menacing music playing)

His mind was kind, his soul was gold

But then a crash turned his heart cold

His nerve once sure, his backbone true

But what was left broke him in two

So he layed out as things went in

At four parts metal, one part skin

Just building rage right down the line

'Til he stepped off as iRONSPiNE

And every rogue state wanted bad

Well that's exactly what he had

The other fools so good, so true

Received his spine , it went right through

Today he's killing at his trade

    An evil grin and verteblade

He'll have his reign if he's inclined

'Cause you can't rust an iRONSPiNE

  • WHAT'S THIS DITTY REALLY ABOUT?C/C pls+tnks1st correct ans10pts?

    THE SHUTTERBUG

    The shutterbug just crawls around

And photographs the sky and ground

So-- anything, that comes in view

Will wind up being taken too

It's learned to hold its breath and press

For any festive look or dress

Or if there's not, it gets the shot

As far as stopping, it cannot

This insect's driven far to frame

An entry that will make a name

And cause the news to shoot its mug

But at days end it's just a bug

  • Can you describe a falling leaf from its viewpoint?C/C please and Thanks?

    F

    A

    L

    L

    I

    N

    G

My grip is slipping, must be fall

In spring I didn't slip at all

I'm brittle, and my color's changed

My molecules are not the same

It's hard for me to face the fact

That death is near, I won't be back

A relative will take my place

But they won't have my smile or grace

Oh my, that wind is swift and cold

Or is that just my ancient soul

And yet I've lived for just one year

My grip is gone---I'm out of here
