Has the gay been prayed away? No.
That means obviously:
1) There is no god and these prayers have fallen on deaf ears
2) There is a god and he doesn't care about gays as much as you think he does
3) There is a god and you're praying to the wrong one

I hate when people say stuff like this. You think there are no gay Christians? You think all Christians are like those associated with Exodus? If so, you're pretty uninformed.
