Is this car a good buy ?

I own a 97 eclipse non turbo with a handful of problems, I have already spent so much money on fixing past problems and current problems. I think its time to let the car go, it has 154000 miles. My fathers friend is selling a 2001 Nissan maxima 20th anniversary edition with 180000 miles, he is the original owner of the car ,maintained properly with changes, it is a 5speed manual. The car has no problems what so ever. AC works perfect , AC does not work in the eclipse. He is selling it because he bought a truck. The deal is my car plus $2000, is this a good deal ?

    I'd try your car plus $1000 - that's a lot of miles on his car...you're paying for the name and the anniversary edition.
