You can teach Arabic until you find a job--I mean you can teach conversational-level-Arabic lessons. Besides, teaching you can also find a job if your English is good--and it looks like it's indeed good. . . There are a lot of things that a person can do in a big city like Istanbul. Make sure that you proofread your CV before you send it to a company in Istanbul. Actually, you can contact the companies for which you want to work in Istanbul. Sometimes that does not work, though. Even if your skills are suitable, companies will not respond you. So, yes--I think you should first come here and see what happens. I mean if you have a good sense of humor and outgoing personality, you should be fine. However, I am not sure how competent Istanbul will be for your salary expectations because there are a lot of recent graduates in the city that are looking for jobs. All in all, I would say Istanbul is a competitive--but that does not mean there are no hopes, for it is a pretty large city. The member above is correct, learning Turkish would definitely make you a more outstanding candidate in the city.

To answer your question, you may put your language skills to great use as a translator and/or interpreter, or use it as a tour guide. However, you will have to get a temporary work permit to work in Turkey and should start to learn Turkish, what would be a plus.

It's really important to know Turkish Language. However, you can try. Maybe you can find a job if you know "good" English.
I don't know paper works. They're important too.
