I can't tell if my pregnancy tests are positive or faulty?
Last night I took 3 pregnancy tests. The first didn't show a result for 10 minutes, and it showed a very faint positive line. It seemed to have malfunctioned though because it took so long to show a result. I took a second one about an hour later, this one took about 20 minutes to read..... Again, positive, however the lines were much thinner than the picture on the instructions. I waited another hour and took the third. This time I peed in a cup and dipped the applicator. 5 minutes later it showed a very clear NEGATIVE. I don't know if the first two I took malfunctioned or which result I should believe.

Definitely sounds like a malfunctioning test unfortunately. Positive lines are meant to show up with 5 minutes if you are in fact pregnant (mine came up within 10 seconds of dipping it into a cup), if it didn't show up until after 10 minutes then it's invalid. I'd still suggest taking another test tomorrow first thing in the morning and seeing what that result is if you want to be sure of it, or maybe even going to your doctors for a blood test if you have the money and doing it that way.

A result shown after the stated time (usually three to five minutes) is considered an evap line, not a positive result. Ten minutes is probably past the stated time, twenty minutes almost certainly is. It's not a malfunction, it's not reading the test according to instructions. Evaps happen as the urine evaporates and the dye shows through, it's not a malfunctioning test.
Test again in a few days and read the result within the maximum time stated on the instructions.

I would try another brand and see what the results are of that one. The fact that it took 10 minutes for the results to show up, I think that those tests are fault. When I took one of the tests I had it didn't show any result. When a took another brand it showed within the set time. I think that it's a negative because it was your third pee. however, I would wait for a bit, and test again. But make sure that you use another brand.

Make sure you wait long enough before taking a test you don't want your urine to be deluted, it will effect test results. Hopefully all works for you.

If I were you i'd just go to the doctor, there test are a lot more accurate. Just eat healthy and all as if you were pregnant, just in case.
