I think it might be a fact, but we are influenced by our periods, which make us more emotional around that time of the month, so maybe.

Depends on the society.
However, given the physical differences between men and women and the male ego the social factors that mean a men is less likely to cry are pretty universal.
Yes. Men are far less likely to cry than women.
I consider it a property of the social conditioning human societies inflict on men that sensitivity is not "manly".
Crying over petty or trivial things is weakness. Men must not be weak.
Meh.
Remove the social conditioning and there would be little difference.

Probably.
They are more emotional.
But I would say manipulating men with incessant nagging is more common than emotional manipulation by crying.
Crying wouldn't work on me as I retreat behind my wall of rationality.
